Located off State Route 16 between Gig Harbor and Port Orchard.
By car
Take State Route 16 W from Tacoma towards Port Orchard, and Exit 20 to SE Burley Olalla Rd.
Take State Route 16 E from Port Orchard towards Tacoma and the Mullenix Road Exit.
There are several main roads that lead through the area including the Olalla Valley Road and Banner Road, both of which have easy access from the ferry at Southworth and can be reached by driving scenic back roads from or to Gig Harbor.
By ferry
Start your journey to Olalla by enjoying stunning panoramic views, inhaling fresh salty sea breeze, and maybe spotting orca whales if you’re really lucky.
From Seattle waterfront terminal: take the Bremerton ferry (60 minutes +25 minutes drive to Olalla).
From West Seattle : take the Southworth ferry (40 minutes +10 minutes drive to Olalla).
From Edmonds: take the Kingston Ferry (+50 minutes drive from Kingston to Olalla).

By bike
Olalla has many hilly and twisty country roads which are popular with bikers coming over from Seattle or any of the other more populated areas. Many maps of suggested scenic bike rides can be found online but be forewarned that it may be awhile between pit stops so plan accordingly.

By boat

By plane
Private flights can land at the Tacoma Narrows Airport, located on the Gig Harbor side of the Narrows Bridge, or at the Bremerton National Airport. Both are about fifteen miles from Olalla.
